Tensegrity is a comprehensive book and visual study inspired by Buckminster Fuller’s lifelong pursuit to “make the world work for 100% of humanity.” Spanning over 175 pages, the project explores Fuller’s contributions to architecture, design, geometry, engineering, science, cartography, and education through a carefully constructed system of typography, layout, and image placement. The design language draws directly from Fuller’s unique way of seeing—he was born cross-eyed and presbyopic, perceiving the world through large patterns and shades of purple and green—informing the book’s color palette and graphic tone. In addition to the book, the project extended into posters and an installation, creating a multi-sensory environment that translates Fuller’s visionary thinking into a contemporary design experience.
