Self Help Graphics & Art is a community arts center located in East Los Angeles. Formed during the cultural renaissance that accompanied the Chicano Movement, Self Help promotes socially engaging art with a conscience to service the Latino community and diverse audiences through artistic freedom and cultural affirmation.

Inspired by the grid used in the Aztec and Mayan hieroglyphs, the custom display font helps celebrate and revitalize its brand identity to reflect its history. This identity also appeals to a more diverse and contemporary audience and communicates the heritage of Self Help Graphics & Art.
